We are temporarily closed. I got married last year and my wife and I have decided to travel throughout South East Asia & India before we have children.
It was a difficult decision, as we do value our past and present clients very much and do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and have been told by many friends and family members to "travel before you have kids", so we thought we would take this small window of opportunity to go for it!

Estimating for Large Scale Multi Family Residential High Rise Buildings, Condominiums, or Commercial & Office Spaces
Please contact Kevin Maier of Blind Solutions at 604-351-4053 or info@blindsolutions.ca. He is able to estimate window covering prices off of building plans and window schedules provided or from a site visit. Kevin is also able to explain how he is working along side our company while we are away.
In Home Consultations:
If this is regarding an in home consultation for your single family window covering needs, then Stan Laursen, the owner would recommend contacting Dana at Dana Designs as he has dealt with her in the past and she does a good job and stand behind her work just as we do.

Repairs:
If this is regarding a manually operated blind repair (not motorized) then we recommend the Venetian blind service center. They are located in Vancouver at 331 West 7th Avenue and their phone number is 874-1121. They do service the lower mainland and you can either drop off the product to them, or for a surcharge they will come to the home and take down and repair the product either on site or they may have take it away for repair.
If the repair is not easily described over the phone, then emailing a picture of the damaged part to vbsc@telus.net can be helpful in ensuring the service technician has what he needs for a site visit (this could eventually save an additional trip).

If this is regarding a repair for a multi family high rise or condominium that we have supplied and it is still within the warranty period, then please contact Kevin Maier at 604-351-4053 or info@blindsolutions.ca. If the blinds are outside of the warranty coverage period, please contact The Venetian Blind Service Center at 604-874-1121 or email them at vbsc@telus.net.
Please see below for which buildings are currently still under warranty. If you do not see the name of your building below, then we ask you to contact The Venetian Blind Service Center directly as your window coverings are most likely out of warranty.

- 2nd & Crowe in Vancouver (expires Jun 20th, 2012)
- The Spruce on Broadway in Vancouver (Expires August 24th, 2013)
- The Sage in UBC (Expires June 24th, 2013)
Several recently out of warranty buildings are the Radiance, Bayside and Astoria. For these building only, please contact Solarfective directly at (416) 421-3800 and they should be able to help you. For other out of warranty buildings please contact the Venetian Blind Service center at 604-874-1121.
